Thus started my first solo performance at Boombox with my Durrtay Bass set. I did not call this type of set that name yet, but was Durrrtay Bass before I identified it,.
Jumping headfirst into digging for bass and trap music was an amazing experience. At the time in early 2016, trap was just starting it's decline because it was just past its pinacle. With so much bass centered music made at the time, the digging for timeless gems was limitless. These are just a few of the amazing bass selections I love to play and continue to do so.
Before this set, some of these songs were spun at Joe Puma's house parties on the spring equinox in 2015, as well as a series of other house parties. These were some of the most personally memorable parties of Sacramento's music scene in my life. And that energy was carried forth to a full trap-esque mix.

Great undergrond music in Sacramento. It features my production (Code Blue) and scratches (Blood for Blood / My Favorite Things), and songs I mastered. Proud to be part of this album. Mike Colossal
This is the 2nd time I worked on an A.L. album and here I mix, master, scratch, and produce. A.L.'s great rhymes and stellar collaborations make this mixtape another classic I'm proud to be part of. Mike Colossal
