History:
Alexander Hernandez approached AJ Sachs, myself, and Rich Soto to start a night 90s house garage dance night. "130 BPMs!" is the range Hernandez requested. We ultimately settled on AJ Sachs and I handling the "Now," with Hernandez handling the "90s" and Rich Soto playing both. Rich and Alex ended their residency and Joe Puma came on as a resident for a few shows too. Hernandez and I were the resident deejays throughout.

The night had its very highs and lows in terms of attendance. Regardless, the mix sets from all the deejays filled the Midtown Barfly each night with amazing dance and 90s music.

Curturally these nights occurred during the numerous flooding of police brutality videos going viral. Also, Donald Trump was become president and a flooding of racial violence was sparking across the USA. There were some evenings, I was so depressed, but still pushed forward to provide a safe and fun environment for Sacramento's dance scene.
